SUMMARY:The charm of the «Noise» - Gerasimos Tsagkarakis
DESCRIPTION:From the music pieces you will enjoy a tour around the world of percussion instruments that may be unknown in the audience. Selective composes from the solo repertoire of percussion instruments\,where some of those are presented for the first time in Greece\, conclude to a very interesting\, intense and enjoying experience for the audience. Gerasimos Tsagarakis will present pieces from Askell Masson\, Casey Cangelosi\, Alexej Gerassimez\, J.S. Bach\, Iani Xenaki and Krystian Skubala\, hoping to charm and impart to the audience the timeless rhythm and the energy that exhale the percussion instruments\, while making the audience to review their views for the percussion instruments. The variety of music in combination with multirythm patterns\, the interaction of the audience with the theatrical moves of the player\, conclude to composing a special unforgetable performance.

SUMMARY:Quarteto - Katerina Polemi
DESCRIPTION:Katerina and her musicians stop to many ports of Greece after many trips around the world\,in order to share their music experience with the audience! They will play Katerina’s songs\, but also others composers\, songs remixed with Greek\, Brazilian\, American\, Bohemian\, African\, Karibean\, Italian…. they may even go to Disneyland! \nWith her will be some of the most special musicians of Greece. Dimitris Papadopoulos at the trumpet and the Flugelhorn\, Petros Varthakouris at Kontrabass and Dimitris Klonis at the drums. Special guest will be Massimo Dono from Italy! Don’t miss this young singer with the mature voice the surprises wherever she goes! \n  \nBIOGRAPHY\nKaterina was born in London from a Brazillian mother and a Greek father. She studied music at the famous Berklee College of music at USA\, where she lived for 5 years. In 2011 she recorded her first disk and by then she has organised concerts in Boston\, in New York\, in Brazil and Greece. At 2012 she participated for the first time at the theatre\, composing the music for the performance “Evridiki”\, with the scenography of Dimitris Tarlow and she received the first prize for the best music from the awards of the audience of Athinorama magazine. Furthermore\, she has written music for the performances “Troikos Polemos”\, for the movie “Mikra Agglia”of Pantelis Voulgaris\, which was a candidate for the prize of best music from the Greek Academy of cinema and for the performance “Megali Chimera” directed by Dimitris Tarlow. This movie will be played for second time at the theatre Poreia in October.

SUMMARY:«Troades» by Evripidis
DESCRIPTION:Troade\, a flagship\, timeless piece and one of the most important pieces of Evripidis will be presented by the National Theatre\, with a translation of K.X Miri and direction by Sotiris Hatzakis. Evripidis in this piece writes about a non-war masterpiece and judge the political behavior that takes place in Athens for the political outrage that had done few months ago against Million and also for the Sicilian Expedition that are preparing. Troades is a piece that deprecates the atrocities of the war and a heart-breaking request for solidarity and humanism. \nAt the camp of Achaion\,at the seaside of the ransacked Troia\,the captives Troaditisses and their queen\,Ekavi\,lament for the suffering.Those women who are still alive from the wiped out royal family\,will be given as a gift at Achaious and the grandson of Ekavi\,the little Astyanaktas\,is knocked down from the walls as a victim of the violence of conquerors. DESCRIPTION:Here we may have the best page in the history of greek jazz. The appearances of Trilogia are seldom seen but significants. \nOur top drummer\, Giorgos Tradalithis\, was the first who recorded the greek jazz disk before 35 years with the «Sphinx». \nHe is composer\,producer and has session music at innumerable disks of greek discography\, has started his career as a member of the rock band «Socrates» and kept going until his last personal disk «Global Vision» (2011). The pianist and organist Giorgos Kontrafouris graduated with Bachelor’s & Master Degree in Jazz Performance from the Academy Sibelious in Finland.He has appearanced in jazz festivals around the world and has cooperated with dozens of top jazz musicians with essential personal discography. \nGiotis Samaras has studies at the conservatory ‘’Bela Bartok’’ and he soon became a selective member of the Hungarian jazz scene before he came to Greece in 1981.Later\, he became a member of «Page One» (with two disks) but also participant at European festival and at records with great musicians.

SUMMARY:«Ekklisiazouses» by Aristophanes
DESCRIPTION:Translation by Kostas Tachtsis \nThis piece was presented at 392 b.C. Topic of the comedy was not an updated problem of this time but something generalized and ideal. Women were indignant for the political behavior of their husbands and they decided to take potent initiatives. An effectual conspiracy leads to the implementation of a plan that causes many episodes that conclude to a teamwork reconciliation. Women take over the governance of the state and try to impose a program that reflects the idea of socialist common ownership that resembles with the ideas of Platon as they are expressed in the ‘’Politia of Platonos’’.
