The Open Theater of Chora will host some of the most important theatrical performances and concerts of the summer, as well as artistic activities by local organizations.<\/p>\n
In order of appearance on the stage of the Open Theater, giving unique moments to the spectators, residents and visitors of Andros: Manolis Mitsias, Karyofyllia Karabetis, Grigoris Valtinos, Panos Vlachos, George Emmanuel Lazaridis, Christos Grimbas, Yiannis, Grimbas, S. Yiannis Stankoglou , Alcinoos Ioannidis, Dimitris Kataleifos, the children\u2019s stage of Dimitris Adamis as well as the Andros Music Association (MOU.SA), the amateur troupe Alalum and many others.<\/p>\n
A special place in this year\u2019s program is the screening of the short films curated by Pantelis Voulgaris entitled \u201cOld Friends \u2013 First Pictures\u201d and will be held at the Cinema Court of Andros Film Club.<\/p>\n
The Festival is organized by A.M.K.E. \u201cFriends of Andros Festival\u201d, with the support of Andriots and non-sponsors, volunteers, employees and the Municipality of Andros.<\/p>\n
The Andros International Festival is not just an institution, it is a unique experience that deserves to be lived by those who love culture, arts and nature.<\/p>\n
There are many interesting proposals for participation in the Festival again this year, the 9th year of the event.<\/p>\n
We chose based on a combination of several criteria with the aim of creating a quality and at the same time attractive program for the viewers.<\/p>\n
A lot of beautiful work was left out, I wish August could hold more. In previous years, almost all the important artistic figures, almost all the great actors, musicians and people of art in general have passed through the stone theater.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the Festival, Andros ceased to be deprived of such performances, it entered the map of the cultural summer throughout Greece. And this year we will meet on a date with good theater, good music, good cinematographic images. And as always with the new events of local artistic bodies.<\/p>\n
Always, our partners and I are anxious about people\u2019s opinion.<\/p>\n
I wish the people of Andros and the visitors of the island to live beautiful evenings, to see the joy and emotion on their faces again, to hear the applause for the artists on stage again.<\/p>\n
