Andros Festival became an occasion to look deeper at ourselves. It became a meeting place; with others, with our ideas, with time and our times.<\/p>\n
Gratitude. To those who believed, worked, participated, shared. To what we have lived and what is yet to come. And, above all, to Andros itself, every year awaiting us like an old friend, as if not a day has passed.<\/p>\n

Pantelis Voulgaris<\/em> For the 11th year, Andros Festival is the highlight of this cultural summer; an institution that was established thanks to the work and dedication of its people.<\/p>\n The catalyst for this journey was the creation of Andros Open-air Theatre; a modern space that opened up new horizons for our island, giving us the opportunity to host distinguished artists and exceptional performances.<\/p>\n We are profoundly grateful to our compatriot Alkiviades Tattos, the inspirer of the Festival, for his vision and contribution. It is our great honour that renowned artist Pantelis Voulgaris serves as the Festival\u2019s artistic director, every year raising the bar and confirming the close relationship of Andros with Art and Culture.<\/p>\n The Municipality of Andros contributes to this effort, wholeheartedly supporting the emergence of Andros as an island of culture.<\/p>\n Andros once more becomes an art hub for residents and visitors alike, thanks to the Festival from 26 th July to 23 rd August and a multitude of events around the island throughout We await you in Andros with great joy!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Theodosis I.
