An anthology of Greek poems set to music, with Manolis Mitsias and Karyofyllia Karabeti.
After a successful sold-out concert at the Athens Concert Hall on March 2023, Manolis Mitsias and Karyofyllia Karabeti are strolling again through the enchanting paths of Greek poetry on Sunday 30 July at the Andros Open-Air Theatre. The performance includes artworks of renowned Greek poets and lyricists Konstantinos Kavafis (Constantine P. Cavafy), Kostas Varnalis, Giorgos Seferis, Odysseas Elytis, Giannis Ritsos, Tasos Livaditis, Manolis Anagnostakis, Nikos Kavvadias, Nikos Gatsos, etc.
The poems that will be presented at this concert, have been set to music by acclaimed composers Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Hadjidakis, Stavros Ksarchakos, Dimos Moutsis, Ilias Andriopoulos, Thanos Mikroutsikos, Christos Leontis and Giannis Spanos.
