On the occasion of the celebration of 200 years since the Greek Revolution against the Ottoman Empire, Kairios Library has established a new institution in order to honour Theofilos Kairis, a great man from Andros and leading figure of the Greek Revolution. Kairios Library will be organising a biannual talk related to Theofilos Kairis, given by a prominent scholar.
This institution will begin on Tuesday August 10 at the open-air Andros theatre, with a talk by Paschalis Kitromilidis, Scholar and Professor Emeritus of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens:
“Theophilos Kairis: An Odyssey of Ideas”
