Translation by Kostas Tachtsis

This piece was presented at 392 b.C. Topic of the comedy was not an updated problem of this time but something generalized and ideal. Women were indignant for the political behavior of their husbands and they decided to take potent initiatives. An effectual conspiracy leads to the implementation of a plan that causes many episodes that conclude to a teamwork reconciliation. Women take over the governance of the state and try to impose a program that reflects the idea of socialist common ownership that resembles with the ideas of Platon as they are expressed in the ‘’Politia of Platonos’’.
