Eleven summers. Eleven years at the Open-Air Theatre of Chora, in the same light, with the same emotion. Each time like the first one, but with greater maturity.
Andros has a way of keeping you close. Making you feel like a local even if you’re just a passer-by. Here, among the rocks and creeks, courtyards and dry-stone walls, life meets art.
Andros Festival became an occasion to look deeper at ourselves. It became a meeting place; with others, with our ideas, with time and our times.
Gratitude. To those who believed, worked, participated, shared. To what we have lived and what is yet to come. And, above all, to Andros itself, every year awaiting us like an old friend, as if not a day has passed.
